We buy only quality driven produce brands which provide a higher yield with less shrink, ultimately saving our customers money. Plus each and every case of product is inspected for freshness before it is sent out on a truck to your location.
Committment to LOCAL
We understand the nature of business on Cape Cod because we live here too. Our economy is driven by tourism and a 'local taste' is often requested. We support small scale agriculture by purchasing fruit and vegetables from Cape Cod farmers. In 2013 we have dramatically increased our local offerings by also adding brands made on locally such as Centerville Pie Co, Spindrift Soda, and Boston Salads. We've also added products from Massachusetts in most of our categories so take a look for LOCAL labels in our produce guide.
Company History
Ring Bros. was established in 1925
by two brothers, Edmund and Stephen Ring. The brothers peddled produce with a pushcart on the cobblestone streets of Salem, Massachusetts. Today, Ring Bros. is operated by Ed, Susan and Patrick Ring, third and fourth generation produce dealers. We distribute farm fresh produce, local and organic produce, dairy, specialty foods, artisan cheese, frozen foods and desserts to hundreds of the finest restaurants, resorts, caterers, hotels and specialty stores in Southeastern Massachusetts. We also own and operate two upsacale retail stores: Ring Bros. Marketplace on Cape Cod and Broadway Marketplace in Cambridge, just outside of Harvard Square.
